There’s a new local lottery coming to Barking and Dagenham, and the Council is urging charities, voluntary organisations, and community groups in the borough to be a part of it.
As well as giving players the chance to win a jackpot of up to £25,000 each week, the lottery will support local good causes by giving them 50% of ticket sales.
Every time a player purchases a ticket, priced at £1 each, they will have the chance to select a local good cause they want to support, with the chosen group receiving 50p and 10p going to a collective community fund. If players choose not to support a specific local group, 60p wil
