Young people in Barking and Dagenham have been given the opportunity to access free, independent advice from a range of colleges, training organisations and careers advisers about their future.
The event, called What Next?, offered youngsters aged 16-18 guidance on what career path to take to achieve their potential, with the aim of reducing the number of young people in the borough classified as NEETs – not in employment, education or training.
As well as hearing about college courses and apprenticeships, the youngsters were given advice on interview techniques and CV tips.
