Barking & Dagenham Domestic Abuse Commission launch | OBLive
Twelve experts from across the country joined us at City Hall on 4 February to launch the Barking and Dagenham Domestic Abuse Commission. The ground-breaking Commission has been set up to get to the root cause of domestic abuse within our communities. The Commission, chaired by Polly Neate, chief executive of the charity Shelter, has a panel of national experts, including Jess Philips, MP and Chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Domestic Violence and Abuse.
