B&D Community Safety Team & Police patrol tackle antisocial behaviour in Dagenham Heathway

Earlier this month, our Community Safety Enforcement Team joined Barking & Dagenham Police on an operation in the Heathway and surrounding areas. In groups, officers patrolled the areas from 3pm to 7pm, while a number of police officers were based at Dagenham Heathway station with a sniffer dog.

Some of the places that were covered as part of the patrols included Broad Street, Millard Terrace and Dagenham Park School. The operation resulted in 21 Stop and Searches, one arrest, three community resolutions for cannabis and three antisocial behaviour warnings issued. The high presence was appreciated by residents and we’ll continue to work closely with the police to combat any issues in the borough.
