London Overground to be extended to Barking Riverside | OBLive

Plans to extend the London Overground to Barking Riverside were approved by the government last week.

Work is due to begin in the summer of 2016, and will see the existing Gospel Oak to Barking line extended to a new station, Barking Riverside, which will be located by Renwick Road. It’s expected that services will begin to run late 2021.
