White Ribbon Day flag raising at Barking Town Hall | OBLive

Councillors, council staff and the borough’s residents gathered outside Barking Town Hall this morning, Monday 20 November, for a flag raising ceremony in support of White Ribbon Day.

White Ribbon day takes place on 25 November every year and is part of a global movement to put a stop to male violence against women and girls. We’re showing our support with this flag raising, and also by making donation boxes with white ribbons available at Barking Town Hall, Barking Learning Centre and Dagenham Library.
