Knife crime and teenage murders is a London-wide problem which can only be stopped by the whole community coming together to address the issue.  On 14 January 2017, more than 100 local people joined together for a peace march in memory of 17-year-old Duran Kajiama Makongolo who was murdered last year.

The march started at Barking Town Hall and finished at Wyhill Walk, Dagenham, the place where Duran was murdered.
Marchers are ask to meet at the town hall from 11.30am. The procession starts from noon and will make its way to Wyhill Walk via the tube from Barking to Dagenham Heathway.
