The Wall of Shame is BACK! We’re determined to win the war against fly tipping and to not take any prisoners in doing so! That’s why we’re relaunching the award-winning Wall of Shame series that names and shames people on social media dumping their rubbish.
From today, you’ll start seeing two different types of signage appearing at fly tipping hotspots across the borough, to fend off perpetrators by letting them know our cameras are watching them and their faces will be shown on the Wall of Shame! A second set of messaging questions why they’re dumping rubbish asking if it is because they:

· are too lazy to go to a bin or recycling centre
· don’t care about the local area
· think other people should clear up after them
Or is it just because they’re a ‘tosser’? The hotspots have been specifically chosen by our enforcement officers and the street cleansing team based on the amount of fly tipping that takes place and reports from residents.
